The past weekend... what a blast!

It really feels like I've cramped a couple of weekends into the last 2 days! I was absolutely BEAT! And today I'm back at work... thank goodness it's a public holiday tomorrow; something like a Chinese All Soul's Day or a Japanese o-Bon Festival... so at least I get to take a rest after this... eventful weekend!

It starts with Friday Night. We went ( Read more... )

This sounds like... a whole lot for two days! The buildings in your posts always look so chic <3 And these macarons, oh the macarons!
I've never been at any class reunion, and don't have any desire to go to one. People I liked in school, as few as they are, I have on Facebook. Plus, living in Japan and all. XD

the macarons tasted yuck this time (some weird combination of Orange and strawberry), so don't envy me there.
hm... you should visit Macau some day, we have a lot of such portuguese style buildings against traditional chinese ones... and then across the street you'll find nifty new modern buildings.

oh, I try to avoid class reunions too, that was more a visit to my mother school building (I did meet a bunch of kids that used to bully me back in the day, and they were all "oh how are you? Long time no see!" but, heh, don't kid me, please, I won't fall for that XD)

I want to see that movie! But I wasn't sure it was worth spending the money.

Wow. It must have been amazing visiting that building for the final time.
It was nice that you got to meet up with a lot of people though.

That building looks identical to those in San Juan.
Your post in general made me feel really nostalgic!

that pink building used to be the portuguese governor's office, being a portuguese colony and all, the architecture is very similar to those in Portugal.

In retrospect, I have to agree that Frankenweenie isn't really worth the price tag. But it was fun watching a black-and-white [supposedly] 3D animation about a resurrected dog. :)

Sounds like a very active weekend. I love the pictures and descriptions of the food; I wish I could sample through the computer screen, lol! So about the Korean BBQ, let me ask you this because I don't know how it works every time I've gone to it -- do you cook your own meat or do the workers do it for you? I never know!

I'm not sure if it depends on the restaurant, but in most restaurants I've been to, you have to cook the food yourself. Only in the more classy and more expensive restaurants do they offer to cook the food for you (though you can still insist you want to cook it yourself)
