Angelus led Angela out of study hall. Heightened senses allowed him to quickly locate an empty room. It looked like it might actually be an office supply closet and not a classroom, but the door was open and nobody was inside. It'd do in a pinch

Angela walks past Angelus into the small, musty space. She hoists herself onto the counter, trying to seem casual.

She takes a deep breath.

"So. Marty?"

"Marty," Angelus leaned against a metal shelving unit. He folded his arms, shaking his head in bemusement. "Boy he is crazy about you. Did you know that?"

Angela was completely confused by this, though she was pretty certain the big scary vamp hadn't lured her into a storage closet to talk about double-dating for homecoming.

"Um, thanks," she said. "I'm pretty into him, too."

"I am just so thrilled you two crazy kids got together," Angelus said. "You have no idea how much seeing romance blossom warms the stone cold cockles of my heart. Know why?"
