After Archie had left, Veronica had spent the afternoon staring mindlessly at the television and replaying her conversation with Logan over and over.

The more times she thought about it, the bigger the unsettled feeling in her stomach grew.

Finally, she couldn't take it anymore and realized she needed to talk to someone. So she headed down to the second floor and hoped she wouldn't run in to Logan in the hall.

She knocked on Angel's door and hoped he was home.

"C'mon in, Veronica," Angel said. "Careful of the eggs."

She walked in and made sure to shut the door behind her so no wandering shrubbery could hear what she had to say.

"I need your help," she said without preamble.

Angel immediately abandoned the egg hunt and gave Veronica his full attention. "What's up?"

A short time later, Bel headed down to the second floor. He made sure Logan wasn't about to see him there, then knocked on Angel's door.

Angel looked up, recognizing the knock. "'cmon in, Bel."

Bel pulled open the door and stepped inside the room. He froze when he saw Veronica. "Er, sorry, am I interrupting?"

Picking up on the cue that Bel wanted some privacy, Angel gave a small nod in Veronica's direction. "Veronica, how about I catch up with you later?"
