Angel had been a bit silly the night before.

Today? He was tired.

Visitors were welcome, though they might notice something new on the door.

Book's been exchanged for the laptop Logan loaned him. He's sort-of watching DVDs, but if quizzed he wouldn't be good on any of the details.

He swung her back and forth just a little, then put her down again. Not being at full strength sucked.

Molly laughed as he set her back down. "I'd offer to pick you up and swing you around, but it wouldn't be as fun for you because I'm so short."

"Point," Angel agreed. He went to sit down, motioning for Molly to do the same. "Though it would come in handy if I couldn't reach somewhere."

Molly followed and sat down with him. "If you ever can't reach something and don't have anything to stand on, I will come and pick you up," she told Angel.

"I promise to remember that." Angel patted the spot between them so that Sean would hop up in petting range. "Unfortunately I don't have a new mission. I can't think of anything new to be."

"Awwww," Molly said with much disappointed pouting. "It was fun going on missions for you."

"It was fun doing them too," he said. He petted Sean absently. "They did tire me out though. I should probably hold off on missioning until I'm all better."

Molly felt guilty now. She hadn't thought about the fact that Angel might be tiring himself out because she'd been having too much fun. Looking down at Sean, she started petting him also. "Yeah, you need your rest," she said. "I didn't realize leaving your room was making you tired."

"Not a lot," he assured her. Which was kind of a lie, but she didn't need to feel bad just because he was an idiot. "I'm told it's not so much the leaving as the doing too much while I'm out there. I'm not so good at pacing myself. Do you have that problem, being all super-girl?"

Molly looked up at him and grinned. "A little, but only when I'm fighting. I'm pretty good about the everyday stuff."

"Ah, see," Angel said. "You're smarter than me. Every day stuff I'm still learning. Have you ever been sick before?"

"I have never been sick," Angel said. "When I was a mortal, yeah, but that was a long time ago. This whole thing is new to me."

He looked at her. "Got any advice?"

Angel groaned. He put on an exagerrated pouty face. "That's what everyone says."
