It was hard to think back at camp. Everyone was talking to him, at him, and now Dale was going around like some stuck old record, spouting off about humanity and being socially aware, and it was more than Rick could take. He just needed some quiet time to think. Or not think. All he ever seemed to do lately was think himself around in circles.

He didn't even notice her until her got close. At first he started at the clear view of her bare back. He raised his gun, thinking it was a walker.

But then he realized it was Charli. Naked. He needed to back off as he felt his cheeks flush.

Of course, now he steps on a loose rock, it rolling away from under his foot so that he loses his balance.

Charli's completely oblivious until she hears stones shifting, someone falling and her mind instantly supplies 'walker' and she spins so fast she feels dizzy.

Upon seeing Rick, she lets out an embarrassed squeak, throwing her arms over her chest and dropping shoulder-deep into the water.

"Oh my god!"

"Oh god, I'm so sorry!" He holds his hands out while still trying to scrabble backwards and get on his feet. It's not very effective and he has to put them down to clumsily push himself up.

"So-so sorry..." If he had his hat he'd have pulled it down over his face.

Charli flushes scarlet, feeling somewhat stuck as soon as she realises that her towel is, of course, in the tree behind Rick. But despite the embarrassment, she can't stop the laugh that bubbles up from her chest.

"This is so embarrassing! I didn't think... I didn't think anyone would come down here."

He wants to go back to the camp and forget the embarrassing incident. But he doesn't want to make a dig deal out of it either. So he stands to talk to her, hands on his hips, completely oblivious.

"What about walkers?"

There's s bat leaning against the tree her clothes are hung in, but sh hadn't really thought about how she'd get to it if the walker stood where Rick was now.

"Uh..." She points to it, looking sheepish.

He glances behind himself at the bat, and then turns back to her again, raising an eyebrow. Maybe he should run some sort of workshop, some PSA about how to look out for yourself. Shane's so busy giving gun range training, but if you're careful it shouldn't have to come to that.

"You should have asked Lori or Maggie to come down with you. You could take it in turns then."

Charli ducks her head, somewhat ashamed when she realises just how silly it is that she came down by herself without even letting anyone know she was there.
