] ...//RUN/THE WORLD OF TRANSFORMERS ▐

SOUNDWAVE.exe
A fellow Decepticon and someone Shockwave was incredibly close to during his time in the City. Soundwave eventually confused him by basically, desiring him. In turn this eventually caused a relationship between the two to form. As time went on Shockwave began growing more and more attached to Soundwave, and actually began attempting to be affectionate towards him, amongst other things. Finally Soundwave died and Shockwave snapped, going into a "I want my boyfriend back!" frenzy.

Upon finding him at the space station Shockwave has become even more emotional - to a point where he's even become jealous of Soundwave's friendship with Skyfire. He's come to a point where he feels he can't cope without Soundwave, and he never wants to loose him again. This has resulted in him trying to be a better boyfriend, trying to not focus so hard on science (and logic) when Soundwave desires affection and attention. He's been gathering advice on how to make his relationship continue to work. Shockwave has even managed to say "I love you" to Soundwave, although it's still odd and hard to say.

Loosing Soundwave a second time has forced Shockwave to reconsider just how much he pays attention to the other, and he's fully intent on not letting anything else happen to him ever again. Even if it means doing his best to stay with him 24/7.

Of course staying with someone 24/7 doesn't always work, and Soundwave has since been teleported off of the station. Shockwave hasn't been taking the loss very well, and has made it his duty to find a way to get Soundwave back; no matter what it takes. Even if it means calling down Hypatia's wrath on himself, or blowing up half the station until someone with control of the rift contacts him. Calculations for getting Soundwave back in a more scientific way, rather than violent, are also being attempted. But finding a way to track where, in the many universes, Soundwave has gone is proving to be more complicated than Shockwave currently finds himself capable of solving. He's got to track down the right Soundwave, frag it.

...

STARSCREAM.exe
Starscream was, at first, one person who Shockwave truly hated. Having been fighting with him for who should lead the Decepticons, to even being possessed by the Seeker. As time in the City went on, the two eventually came to an agreement and worked together. This oddly enough turned into a friendship of sorts, where Shockwave would occasionally teach Starscream, and the Seeker would offer up emotional advice. Starscream's final death in the City left Shockwave in charge, but the scientist did in fact find himself missing the other's presence.

Upon finding him on the station the friendshipish-thing remained, with Shockwave listening and offering help to Starscream. However, due to Starscream's Starscreamness it ended with Shockwave being bit upset with the seeker - as he'd gotten him in bad terms with Soundwave.

Since Starscream has left the station, Shockwave kind of wishes he'd come back. If only so he can have someone else to talk to.

...

SKYFIRE.exe
Yet another Shockwave knew from the City. The two never seemed to get along, mostly due to Shockwave killing Starscream's body and experimenting on his spark. That never sat well with Skyfire, who later ended up dating Starscream. Skyfire didn't really like him, so Shockwave never saw a reason to attempt to fix that - merely not caring. If Skyfire didn't like him then he had no reason to like Skyfire.

Upon the station things took a turn for the worse. Although he never spoke to Skyfire, the things he'd heard from Skyfire's ex, Starscream, hurt the scientist bad. That Skyfire wanted to cuddle with Soundwave, that the two were very close, and Starscream even at a point mentioned them acting like bondmates. New to emotions, Shockwave was jealous and jealous bad. He hates Skyfire, not only for being so close to Soundwave - for being competition - but also because he knows Skyfire would make a better boyfriend to Soundwave than he is.

When Skyfire first vanished off the station Shockwave had informed Soundwave he'd get the communications officer's friend back somehow. He didn't work too hard on it, and was quite pleased that his competition was gone.

Since Soundwave disappeared, Skyfire's returned, not exactly the #1 thing on Shockwave's want list. The two still don't get along well, and Shockwave has a habit of insulting the larger Cybertronian. Despite this dislike they have for each other, Shockwave does desire some form of contact with Skyfire. He has to be able to speak to him because he's the only other Cybertronian around that's human and has been to the City. He's someone Shockwave could possibly talk to... if he'd stop harassing and insulting poor Skyfire that is.

Their relationship is like a sad little 80s toy commercial.

...

CONVOY.exe
It started with Shockwave questioning if Convoy was an A.I. or Cybertronian. Learning that he was a fellow Cybertronian (and the only one aside from Soundwave and himself) is what really hooked Shockwave onto him. Their entire first conversation had Shockwave wanting to learn more and more about the other and offering up to help fix Convoy's systems GLORIOUS EXPERIMENTS and offer up tasty fuel.

When they finally met, Shockwave was - as with all special Cybertronians - extremely excited and fascinated. Studying Convoy is high up on his list. The meeting didn't go exactly as planned as far as obtaining data and pulling Convoy apart, as Dug happened to be guarding the house... And it ended up in the two 'bots talking, while Dug hung his head out of Convoy's window.

Convoy's refusal to help Shockwave steal the Marker and his argument with Soundwave has irked Shockwave slightly, but he still finds the other to be far too intriguing to push away. That and more recently he's one of the few Cybertronians around he can talk to... And he happens to be Shockwave's auspistice, according to Troll culture.

...

BARRICADE.exe
Barricade is the only other Decepticon present and Shockwave has been extremely quick to latch onto him. He was lucky enough to run into Barricade when the other first arrived and was sitting about in vehicle mode. The Decepticon symbol plastered on his side was a huge giveaway after all.

He doesn't quite understand Barricade's need to use petnames, but he's so used to being called all kinds of names that he's used to it. The only reason he hasn't really complained about it, is simply because the name isn't insulting, and is similar to the petname Virgil used to use on him. He's even attempted to "fight back" when he was slightly upset with him by calling Barricade a petname. Admittedly it didn't work, but he's certainly learning to be minimally creative.

Barricade has quickly become his go-to mech when he has trouble sleeping. The presence of a fellow Decepticon is better than what any of the Autobots can offer him. He is Shockwave's preferred company.

...

RATCHET.exe
Shockwave first ran into Ratchet when he was just a little baby kid. He'd been fascinated with the mech's buttons, and with little Barricade had taken a liking to climbing all over him - and button mashing. It was all for science!

Since then they haven't really spoken much, but Shockwave has no problems with him. Ratchet is a fellow Cybertronian, and there can never been too many of his own kind. Even if he is an Autobots.

He may still desire to push some more of the mech's buttons.

] ...//RUN/THE SPACE STATION ▐

VRISKA.exe
Shockwave's adopted space!daughter. Althought Shockwave doesn't actually view himself as parent like, he does have a habit of parenting Vriska. In a way she reminds him of a younger version of himself, and a few other Decepticons, and he feels that he needs to look out for her. She is one of the few people on the station that Shockwave is attached to, so he'll play games with her, offer advice, and be concerned when she gets hurt or gets herself into trouble. He knows she can handle herself, but he'd rather try and keep her out of danger if he's capable.

He finds Vriska absolutely fascinating, with her ability and just being a troll. He's learned quite a bit about her culture and is constantly learning more thanks to her. Something he'd never say no to, learning more things. He's even done some trolling because he learnt from the best. She is by far one of his favorite people, which almost never was as when they first met things didn't go so well.

Vriska is the one Shockwave can just talk to when he needs someone to listen, although he is careful of what he talks about; as she is very young. And afterward they can go be pirates and think up master plans!

...

DUG.exe
When Shockwave arrived on the station Dug had already been living with Soundwave. Naturally they would meet once the scientist moved in with his boyfriend. Shockwave's first impression of the canine was no more than he was extremely dumb and rather dirty. Not to mention he did a bunch of illogical things which made no sense no matter which way he thought about them.

This view on Dug slowly began changing as he spent more time with the dog and began learning more about him. The fact that his collar allows him to speak is a plus, even if what he says often makes little sense. Also Dug is capable of using the toilet, thus disposing of his own waste. This is truly a highlight as it's much better than Soundwave's previous pets which required cleaning up after. Finally Dug is very good at hunting down small animals and bringing them back to Shockwave, providing and endless supply of test subjects. What more could the scientist ask for.

While Dug still does things that bothers Shockwave he's far more tolerable of him, and has even begun to like him. He does enjoy Dug's company, even if he will never admit it, and the canine sleeping on the bed with him when Soundwave isn't around isn't a choice, it's a must.

...

ALTMAN.exe
Altman is one of two humans Shockwave adores. He hardly expected that helping out the human when Altman first arrived would lead to actually getting a friend. Almost similar to Chronos from the City, but not quite. He can certainly get away with more things around Altman than he could with Chronos.

Which could potentially be a bad thing.

He does think Altman needs to toughen up a bit, but he's also perfectly content with the other staying as is. As long as Altman doesn't die Shockwave has no problems, and he's proved this by saving Altman once. Shockwave would easily do it again if it meant keeping him around. After all, no one else (that happens to be organic and not a dog) lets him use them as a pillow.

Aside from attempting to keep Altman for his pillow uses, Shockwave does in fact respect him. He finds the human to be quite smart and just pleasant conversation. Altman also has shown concern for his well being before, which has earned him even more of Shockwave's respect and adoration.

...

THANE.exe
How did this even happen. It started with Thane threatening Shockwave that he would kill him should he put anyone in danger attempting to take down Hypatia. In his "pank" disaster display Thane had managed to track him down in hiding and Shockwave calmly offered him tea.

Since then they've been talking a lot more, usually just clam normal conversations until a topic comes up that makes Shockwave's emotions start acting up and he starts acting weird. And then he painted Thane blue... Or rather the two became children when the teleporters were acting up and decided that doing experiments in colour would be the BEST THING EVER. And thus Thane was painted.

With all of this, while Shockwave is still cautious of Thane should they ever end up fighting each other, he does hope it will not come to that. He knows the other is skilled, and he has been working on finding more information on him, but he's also nice conversation from time to time, and that's not something he gets too often. He'd rather not loose that.

...

ZAEED.exe
Zaeed is Shockwave's other adored human. He reminds him of a fellow Decepticon, and if the station were anything like the City he'd have tried to make Zaeed an honorary Decepticon ages ago. A love for explosions and guns, what is not to like about this human... aside for the fact that he doesn't seem to like tea. Shockwave has decided he needs to change that eventually.

Zaeed first won Shockwave over when he allowed him to run tests on his arm which had alien acid on it, and a scientist can never say no to a willing subject. Zaeed seemed to have no problem with it, and Shockwave began paying more attention to when Zaeed would post to the network.

Zaeed has also offered his help to Shockwave in taking down Hypatia, which Shockwave was not expecting, and appreciates more than he'd ever admit. Besides he seems to give good relationship advice. Like since Soundwave is gone and he's not happy, go drinking and shooting. Or when he gets Soundwave back, glue him to the floor. Yes, very good advice.

...

VIRGIL.exe
Where to even start with Virgil? Shockwave is fascinated by him. Virgil would make an excellent experiment, except for the fact that Shockwave's trying to avoid kidnapping and cutting open other people on the station... currently. Luckily for Virgil, if Shockwave ever decides to change that, he likes the guy too much to actually kidnap him.

Shockwave first met Virgil when they got into a conversation about self overload, which Shockwave saw no point in. From then on Virgil has been confusing Shockwave, making him flustered, and continuing to fascinate him. He views Virgil as close enough to a friend, and generally harmless - although Soundwave seems to hate him. They've exchanged tech specs, which Shockwave was quite pleased with, and Virgil has given Shockwave romantic advice when asked - quite good advice at that! Virgil has really become his go to guy when it comes to relationship questions, and is one of the few people he's actually told about his Cybertronian nature. He also lent him handcuffs to use with Soundwave on Valentine's Day. Oh baby.

More recently when Soundwave was missing, he offered to do something that, if Soundwave had been around, would have gotten him killed. All in attempts to see if Soundwave would show up. Even if Virgil had been joking, Shockwave did really appreciate the offer.

...

RED.exe
LARGE DINOSAUR. This is quite clearly the most important thing Shockwave notes about Red. He doesn't have the best track record with reptiles - especially dinosaurs. Thankfully this one, unlike pretty much every other dinosaur, doesn't want to kill him. In fact Shockwave first met Red when she arrived to save him from a vicious attacking hologram.

He's a bit more cautious around her, more willing to do what she asks, very choosing with his words. All attempts to avoid another Grimlock incident. He doesn't want to upset the dinosaur. Or get himself killed.

Aside from that Shockwave actually finds Red to be rather sweet, if a bit single minded. She's very focused on the whole mating and making chicks thing, which made for a rather difficult attempt to explain that his particular relationship could not result in chicks since he's with another male. Needless to say they dropped that conversation. He's also saved her from Dug, and danced with her SLAG YEAH DANCING LESSONS FROM A RAPTOR she's one of the few who can provide a simple relaxed conversation... Over the network where if he says anything wrong she can't bite him.
