There is no currency here. Everything is free for the taking, although some choose to barter with goods and/or services.

I see. However, this points to the fact that this place was designed to have a catch. Nothing is ever completely free. That's the reason when people offer up any points of wisdom, they consider saying "This is my two-cents".

Here's my two non-existent cents; the Malnosso are the catch. We get everything we need in exchange for being occasional test subjects.

I see. To a point.

Is there a process as to why people are snatched? Does anyone know that much?

[Hanging out on her couch, checking over his newly re-found gun and snorting quietly.]

[Totally has her gun as well, but she's moving towards Booth and nudging him.]

Are you still upset about how I reacted to your need to protect me?

No. [Still kind of obviously grumpy/miffed about something though.]

What's wrong then, Booth?

[Sits down besides him and nudges with a leg.]

Has anyone given you the guide yet? That may answer your questions.

My partner has given me the guide, I haven't the time to read it yet. However, I'm more interested in finding out more of the factual aspects of these "abductions".

You mean when people get kidnapped for experiments or our being in here in general?

Both.

We don't know much about the Malnosso because we really don't come into contact with them, and they aren't sharing. I can promise you though that we aren't anywhere on Earth.

If you keep in mind that we're technically in a prison, so all the stuff here is to keep us quiet and happy, that would explain the lack of an apparent economic structure.

ooc| oh man i'm so sorry for this. notsofunnybones March 12 2011, 16:15:41 UTC
We're not on Earth? That's impossible.

This cannot be true, the plant life is very much earth like, as well as the fact that the air we're breathing is very much found only on earth, which would mean we are in another galaxy. The closest one to earth is Andromeda. I would also point out that it's nigh impossible to even travel to that galaxy due the 2.2 million light years spacing between us.

The amount of time that it would take us to travel from there to Andromeda would lead me to point out that unless these Malnosso have perfect cryogenic freezing of humans and have resurrected us from these states...

We have to be on Earth.

lol, no problem XD derek_bliss March 12 2011, 16:20:29 UTC
...maybe if you're going into straight out astronomy. Try looking in the direction of quantum physics, parallel dimensions, and Moebius strips. Might help.

Oh jeez, she just wants to STARE at everyone go "why are you so crazy?" notsofunnybones March 12 2011, 16:29:06 UTC
True enough. Perhaps I'll take those into consideration next time I make another assumption to where we are. However, unless I can be proven wrong and we are not in fact on Earth, I refute anything less.

"Temperence." Just wondering, darling, if it's a name that has been handed down throughout the generations from a particularly prudish forebear.

No, it's not. Unless you're meaning "surnames", because then I would have to tell you that you have it backwards. Are you perhaps from one of the Asian countries? You sound English however. Were you adopted?

[Hrm. Dirty man in a dirty pirate costume. Is he from an amusement park or something? :|a Bones is not sure if she wants to know or not. Maybe he's crazy. Oh if she only knew]
