Ficathon!
Welcome to the notsobigheaded ficathon! Got a brilliant bit of fanwank to get around this latest revelation? An insane theory? Write it up as a witty drabble, an epic romance, pure crack!fic or serious, heart-wrenching drama - anything goes!
As an added incentive, all participants will get a shiny, limited edition 'NotSoBigHeaded' banner.
This ficathon will accept:
- Het, Gen, and Slash
- Any rating
- Any length, although we'd prefer fics to be 100 words or more.
- Crossovers
Note: 'Doubling up' on themes and ideas is perfectly fine. Don't let someone else's Jack-is-playing-a-joke-fic dissuade you from posting yours. Variations on a theme, riffing on other posts - let *your* take on Jack and the Face of Boe shape your fic. Putting your own words to common tropes is part of what we do in fanfic-land, after all.
Note 2: Feel free to submit multiple fics, if inspiration strikes more than once.

Since this is a pretty informal ficathon, there's no sign-ups as such. But if you're planning on participating, we'd appreciate it if you left a comment on this post so we can hunt you down if you don't submit, so we can get an idea of who's planning on taking part.
Timeline:
This ficathon officially ends on Saturday, 28th July, 2007, exactly one month after the airing of 'The Last of the Time Lords'. RTD may think Jack can mutate into the Face of Boe in a few billion years, you've got a month to stop it.
Posting:
Posting opens from the time this post goes up, and remains open until the official end date.
Stories can be either be posted directly to the community or linked to personal journals. All stories posted directly to the community must be under a cut.
Stories should be posted with 'Ficathon: Title, Rating' in the subject line
All stories should use the 'ficathon' tag, as well as the 'fic' and 'fic - rating' tags.
At the end of the month, we'll post a round-up of all the stories submitted.
