Well, Brian without Michael, even more so in early-season-2-that-really-is-season-1-in-Brian-character-development, would be kind of hard to cope with. I think. ^^

This being said, I particularly liked the buy-me-beer discussion (can't quote, am at work :( )

I'm really, really enjoying this story. I love the stories in this fandom that are AU only in the sense that Brian and Justin meet at a different point in canon, or that after a certain point they diverge from canon. They're a 'what if?' that allow for us to witness the development of Brian and Justin's relationship on a different timeline, while still being who they are as individuals and as a couple.

Plus, it means almost anything goes in terms of what 'should' have already happened, so we get to bite our nails and wonder if Chris Hobbes will make an appearance or if other things we loved or hated about their story will make it into this fic.
