[The writing is very controlled and precise.]

I would like to request people's opinions on a matter that may concern several of us.

In the case of males turned into females, or females turned into males, which of the communal washrooms should be used?

The one pertaining to your current gender.

It is inappropriate to shower in the presence and sight of members of the opposite gender, even if I am currently in the body of one. I am not a voyeur.

It is inappropriate to shower in the presence and sight of members of the opposite gender, yes. And you are currently a woman.

Being in the body of a woman does not make me one. I'm still myself. If this place were ever to make me inhabit your body, that wouldn't make me you.

[Pentaps - he likes that answer, actually.]

It might just be easiest to disregard gender entirely for the time being.

Kind of comes down to who you trust more, doesn't it? Yourself or other people.

If you trust yourself not to sneak a peek in the ladies washroom, then I doubt anyone would be the wiser. There are stalls, after all. But if you trust that some bastard won't try to get an eyeful while you're using the men's facilities, then by all means, go that route.

As much as I trust myself, the section one showers are quite open, and I would be violating people's privacy simply by being there. Whether they're aware of it or not isn't the issue.

You make a good point, though. To shower in the presence of men would be to dishonour my the woman whose body I currently inhabit.

[pause]

I might have to just keep my eyes closed, then.

It's times like this they could probably stand to install a handrail along the side of the washrooms.

Or proper closed shower stalls.
