I'm jealous of your right to say, "I do not think it would make any sense to phase him out of my life."

And I'm sorry you've been sick and sad and angry, and also that Mendelssohn has been an accomplice to it all. I think it's an awful thing to have to say that "you can't blame a boy for trying," but it sounds like you survived it. So I'm glad.

i did survive, though i'm not sure if my lungs have- i'm pretty sure mendelssohn took everything the hardest. and jeremiah is a sweetheart; he's just green. i think, maybe? and, well, you remember thanksgiving-
at least i can take consolation in the fact that i am not as insane as josh fein... hm...
i'm sad i missed our fête!

What does this mean: "So I get on stage, and before I play, Mr. Vitek makes me “practice” bowing, because apparently I’m just not confident enough with my yoga on stage."?

And at least things can't get much worse :\

no yoga- though jan repko made me stand on a bucket and lift my legs while playing barber during a master class once. and do you remember alexander technique? that was great. sort of. we should all lie down on the floor in orchestra. and i'm coughing a lot but feeling better, except for when i think about ives. but thanks guys! and isa, can we do another mock audition sometime? soonish? like wednesday or thursday?
