Oh! Be still my beating heart!!! God this is good. It's kinda hurty and achy at the beginning but i love it. I'm a sucker for a happy ending.

I really liked this. I liked the concept of it. Of Sergio knowing and waiting for Fernando to figure things out. For him to admit to himself these things. How Sergio keeps pushing Fernando because he knows him, probably better than Fernando knows himself.

thank you, yes I think that was never spoken, but always understood, that Sergio always knew Fernando better sometimes than he knew himself.

First of all, I really love the way they are both written in this. I love that Sergio is patient, that he is quietly waiting. I think that goes against how he is written most often; brash, loud, majorly outgoing (I love to write him this way). And Fernando is quiet but he is so reflective. Even with himself, he can't be honest. He's definitely conflicted and fighting.

My favorite part is when they're both drunk, that one moment that Fernando has of wild abandonment when he pulls Sergio aside. I think it's important to see how right Sergio is about Fernando and his feelings and I think it's good that Fernando has a moment that shows him what he really wants. Because when he is able to let go, it turned out he really wants Sergio.
And this: Sergio kisses him softly, just once, and leaves him standing there alone with his thoughts, alone with his mistake.I love that it was so rushed and hurried moments before, but at the end, when it matters, Sergio is soft and sweet with him. That moment may have been full of lust but ultimately, ( ... )

God yes I was sick of this fic, as you well know, but I'd spent too much time on it not to do something with it.

Everything you said about your favorite part, gosh, thank you. As you know that was the last part to be written & I wasn't sure how well it fit into the rest of the fic, so I'm so glad it did all those thing that you mentioned.

Also, I'm glad you are having such a great day!

Oooh different again! Love the fact you can be quite versatile as how you structure your fics and the tone you use..

Well, that broke my heart a few times (the wc final..oh dear) and also made me angry (Chelsea, top of the league.. barf!!!) but eh it's interesting to see it through a different perspective!!

I'm sure Nora knows, she's a clever kid ;-)

ha! I won't lie this fic was a challenge, but I'm glad you liked it, because it means all the moaning I did over it produced something worth reading.

Ah yes the world cup scene, that was the last one I added & I think its probably my favorite, after the very 1st scene that is. About the Chelsea thing......this is why I am the fanfic writer & you are not ;-) * Don't lie you know you will be happy for him if he wins a trophy.
