I really, really like this review.

It's actually EXACTLY what I thought about my own book. (Except for the sex scenes. I did not think they were good at all, but this girl really liked them! Said they ~steamed off the page~ lol)

Nice, that's a pretty good review. She thinks you can do better; that's both nice to hear and kind of weird to hear.

Sounds fantastic! I was expecting a more . . . "lurid" review, but the reviewer paid you the great compliment of especially emphasizing the plot and characterization (and not dwelling solely on the sex). It's just what they say of (for instance) a science-fiction novel: that if it isn't a good NOVEL FIRST, regardless of genre, it can't be a good science-fiction novel.

The true test: take out the sex scenes (believe it or not). If it still reads as well, then you haven't just written a good erotic novel, you've written a good NOVEL. Period.
