Okay, so the bedroom is clean, but definitely lacking. I ordered a cherry bookshelf for the back wall here. In between the hamper and the mobile desks.

This. You definitely need an extension cord or power strip or something back there so you can plug more in behind the bed.

Yeah, definitely. We have one extension cord w/ 3 outlets on the end going in each direction: one to my husband's side of the bed and one to mine.

Same here. His side is still ridiculous but I have managed to hide all of the cords on my side by tucking them under the bed.

You could move that picture in the last picture above the bed. Your bed wall needs it more than the wall it's currently on (unless you want an excuse to buy something new, of course).
Get a surge protector for the socket behind the bed, and you'll get some extra outlets.

Seconding the surge protector. Don't just add extra sockets with extenders. You can end up causing a serious fire hazard. Whereas, with a protector if it goes whacky it just turns off.

I'm a big fan of framed mirrors, but, really, the nice cheap option is just relocating the art you already have.

A painting would look nice. Or a nice little saying. We have just a simple saying 'Always kiss me goodnight!' above our bed.
You could get an outlet extender thing... you plug it in and it gives you 3 or so more plugs.

Honestly? I want to paint your walls. But my bedroom walls probably have enough color for the both of us.

A painting, or get a big cheap frame and put a piece of pretty fabric or a wallpaper sample in it. You can also make your own frame really big out of strips of moulding, this can really dress up a plain wall when painting isn't an option.

If you really need that extra outlet, get a long white or tan extension cord and run it straight down, tuck it between the carpet & wall around the corner, and plug in behind the nightstand.
