I have been inside the apartment for a week. While I understand that it's safer in here than it's out there, it makes me feel somewhat helpless. I have no magical powers, no special skills, nothing that can be of assistance in such a situation. I wish there was something I could do...I feel trapped. Useless

Ah, I...[pause]there is little to happy about at the moment. I'm assuming the monsters are different somehow from the usual sort?

They're bigger and meaner than usual.

Are people having difficulties fighting them?

The real problem is avoiding them, I think. There's a wall around the high school where most of us are, so we don't have to worry about them.

But there are still people out there...

Not outside outside! It's still dangerous beyond the barrier... How are things where you are, miss?

I'm with my friends, in our apartment. We haven't left since the trouble started. I know I thought it best not to add to the casualties.
