Strength is an interesting concept.

Is it mental or physical...and is it achievable in a place like Discedo?

will be beefy, fighting monsters, fighting inner demons, c: adrian andrews, ic, monsters are scary, question time, as subtle as a knife

It can be either, but the latter is useless without the former; and of course it is achievable. Why wouldn't it be so?

Only if you're implying that a moment of weakness automatically condemns one to a life of it.

While indulging in self-pity and ignoring every opportunity one has to strive for better may seem as if they're the only viable options to someone in that position, I would argue that it is the height of weakness to accept defeat so passively.
