I miss the privacy. It's been...

Unfortunately, a lack of privacy is the hallmark of living in Discedo.

[Oh, not Mr. Edgeworth too. How embarrassing.]

I don't have to live here, do I? It's...just safer.

If you would prefer to live elsewhere, I would not stop you, as, unlike me, you have a choice to live away from the noise. However, having those close to him seems to mean something to Phoenix, so I suggest you take up the matter with him if you have not already.

[Those...close to him? Surely, Mr. Edgeworth is joking. Certainly, Phoenix's help was appreciated, and might have even helped save her life, but that was all part of his job, and his overly generous nature, nothing else. So, instead, she focuses on another part of his statement.]

You don't have a choice, Mr. Edgeworth?

Phoenix has a sort of family complex. At the very least, reconsider for his sake.

No, not quite, although that's far from a complaint.

Whether or not that is disbelief or sarcasm is irrelevant in the face of the truth. That truth, of course, is independent of my situation entirely.

Our relationship is vastly different than yours.

My...relationship with whom?

...

Allow me to rephrase.

The dynamic between myself and Wright is different from the one between the two of you. In short... [He holds up his hand, because this is totally video and there seems to be a ring on his ring finger.] He and I are in a relationship.

[She sort of...gapes at her communicator a little; she's not really sure how to comprehend what she's seeing - although she hadn't know either of them for very long, she'd had no reason to suspect that they were that way inclined, or indeed, that they even knew each other outside of a professional context.]

I -- you're...you two.

[After a small pause.]

I'm happy for the both of you.

In any case, I suggest speaking to him on the matter.
