Working at Gringotts is about as exciting as could be expected.

[OOC: Launch of HMS Selene, second of Miria and Galatea's spawn. She's two years younger than Group One, where her sister Hilda Tania resides. She's been out of Hogwarts for a year (19?) and working at Gringotts. Yay.

... She hates it. About as much as her ridiculous name.]

I would imagine the opportunity to learn about Goblin culture first hand would be rather fascinating, even if your statement indicates you do not find the career exciting.

They're not very encouraging.

Goblins are not known for their skills at socializing with humans.

She means not very.

...I should write a book of translations for you. But you'd probably read it.

Oh Mandy~ retentionwizard February 17 2010, 20:25:42 UTC
Oh.

...what else are you going to do with a book besides read it?

It was meant as a not-serious, throwaway comment. So when I added the 'But you'd probably read it' to the end of it, it made it funny. Well, funnier; it wasn't that amazing.

It also means that there are books like that out there, but you are the only person who would take it seriously and read it when I meant it as a joke.

[You can tell she explains these things to him all the time]

I'm sure you knew it would be boring before you went to work there, so why choose it?

It seemed realistic. Dependable employment.
