Mansion's been pretty quiet lately. That game of tag was fun, Okita, so it's a good thing for the down-time. Never had much of that when we traveled the 'verse. Sometimes it was Reavers, other times Alliance, and then parts blowin' up and no bein' fixed and bounty hunters and -- well, ya know, it's kinda nice to actually get some peace and quiet.

A-ah, I know the feeling, a little. My friends and I were always traveling, so we never got a lot of time to stay in one place... It's a little strange, having that time now.

Yeah, it is strange. I mean, you wish for jus' a little extra time, an' then when you've got it, it seems so foreign-like an' ya don't know what to do with it.

It's easy to become restless, isn't it? I've started, ah, wandering the halls, I guess... That sounds a little silly. Exploring, mostly.

The computers here all say it's July 18th. As for the year, it was 2010 last I checked, but if you asked around you'd probably get a ton of different answers.

Really? That means my birthday was two days ago, the 16th! Shiny. 2010, though? It's 2517 in my part of the 'verse.

Why thank you. The future is just shiny, and we got all manner of spaceships to tinker with.

Dude, all of that sounds awesome! Uh, not the whole... blowing up part. BUT STILL! Living in space, doing whatever ya want. That was like, my dream when I was little! That and being a dinosaur, but I've already accomplished that.

From what I get, it's July. I think. Dunno the year though, since everyone here is like, from different times and all. Oh, and um, again, sorry if I worried ya or anything. Long story short: I'm apparently cursed.

It was always my dream to be a mechanic! See, things jus' sort of have a way or working out. I'll be sure to take ya for a spin on Serenity if I ever find her again, she's a great ship.

Well, I hope you'll be okay even though you've got that curse. Is there anyone here who can help ya get rid of it?

...dude. That would be like, the highlight of my life! River showed me drawings and Simon with the windows and I've only been in space a couple times but those don't count cuz we were on missions and ldasj;rlewa AWESOME!

Hmmmm, now that ya mention it, maybe my magic pal can give me some more luck. I don't need a lot! Just enough so that I'm not set on fire or have an organ explode every other day.
