I can now tell you, as a usmc girlfriend, it's not worth it. The bullshit is just to crazy.field ops that take the guys out for weeks or months at a time, Deployments that last a min. of seven months but can last as long as 18 months, and you're only garenteed six months before a second one. and they get paid shit. my dear marine makes less then i do, and I make $1400or $1500 a month.

Yikes. I forgot that the Marines don't really pay well. Maybe I'll look into the Navy or the Army.

Still, Seth's a E4 and he still gets less than 1400/month? That's insane. I guess when you live on base by yourself it's not bad, but holy bejeepers.
