Oh my god, this is SO GOOD I don't even know where to begin. Pam & Dwight friendship fic is in HORRIBLY short supply and this is so much better than I could have even hoped for.

The DETAILS -- what's in Jim's backseat, Pam's thrice-a-week cardigan & its thread, what she does all morning. And then your Dwight is SO excellent -- hilarious and earnest and dedicated and full of bizarre stories and facts and opinions and a;osidjfa;iofdj. You should write him ALWAYS. But most of all this is so PAM -- dealing with the everyday, her popsicle sticks, sharing a dark look with Dwight, seeing Jim and Karen. Really heartwrenching in the best Pam way.

And Dwight suggesting they make Jim jealous!! And that last line!!!

Please please write more Office fic!

Oh my GOD. This was horrifying, but in the best possible way. It was horrifying and hilarious. : ) I totally think Dwight has a crush on Pam and that's just another reason he dislikes Jim so much, because Jim stole his thunder. Freakin' brilliant.

I think that "This was horrifying" is probably the best response I have ever gotten to anything I have done, ever.

Your Dwight(/Pam) theory is interesting and sort of plausible in a Dwight-y way. Like when he put the goose on her desk at Christmas. It was totally a show of machismo meant only for her.

I'm reduced to using punctuation to reply to this, because I just love. it. so much. The details are great, like Kyra says, and I just love the feeling you captured, Pam in the last quarter of S3, pulling out of first gear and trying to find her way on her own. And of course reaching out to Dwight makes perfect sense. This is so awesome.

I wish more people would write Pam and Dwight too. There are so many unexplored possibilities for more experienced, better writers than I. (hinthint)
