Hopefully the owl at such a late hour didn't startle you too terribly much. I've really been meaning to come see you, but--
Bad things have happened. I can't go into any detail right now, but I can assure you that I'm alright.
I don't know how else to make up for this besides telling you I'm very sorry and I promise I'll stop by the shop tomorrow.
