"Might want to watch where you're going, never know who you're going to bump into," Seamus said as he squinted in the darkness to see who had bumped into him. He'd been unable to sleep, far too common with the way the Mark burned all the fucking time. Sick of waking Dean, Seamus had taken to, he wouldn't say skulking though it fit, going to the kitchen for tea to soothe himself. A few drops of pain potion and no one would know the difference.

"Can't sleep or is it your night for guarding all of us from the evil Death Eaters?" He asked drolly, rolling his eyes as he started to finish the walk into the kitchen.

Cho cocked her head to the side at the droll Irish accent coming from the man she'd bumped into. It was familiar and tugged at the corners of her consciousness. "'Tis not me that does the guardin' of anythin'," she answered back smartly in her own Scottish brogue. "Ye got it right with the first."

She followed behind him, albeit reluctantly. Company wasn't really what she'd bargained for but she wasn't willing to give up her nighttime cuppa just because someone else was there first. And then the view of his shaggy mottled hair triggered a memory of a cute little Irish boy in Gryffindor, so adept in the DA. "Seamus? Seamus Finnigan?"

"Aye and I'm not trusted enough for it, either." Seamus finished walking into the kitchen. "That'd be me name but I can't say that I'd be remembering you. Sleeping with Corner, though, yeah?"

Seamus wandered over and reached into the pantry for the tea, exposing the Mark on his arm.

"Want a cuppa? Just as easy to make two as it is one." His tone said that he was only offering for manners not for company but he was appreciative of the company, just the same. He'd been spending so much time in the room or with Dean that he hadn't had much time with anyone else. Not that he really wanted to spend time with anyone, there were too many suspicious glares for that.

"He's my boyfriend, yeah," Cho replied. "I dinna really know how I remember your name. I'm thinking it probably has something to do with Harry an' the DA. But I barely remember him as well. Not much of a memory, you know? Tends to happen when ye've been hit by multiple spells, or so I've been told."

Reaching behind the door, she flipped the light switch on. "If it's no bother I'd love one," she answered, walking over to the cooker to get the kettle for boiling water. As she waited for it to fill, she watched Seamus measure out the tea into the pot. She'd seen the Mark on his arm, but didn't know what it was. All she knew was that it being raised and inflamed like that, it must be pretty painful.

"It hurts, yeah?" she asked with concern as she nodded her head towards his forearm. "What does it mean?"

"Multiple spells? Final battle, then?" Seamus started pouring the tea as soon as it was boiling and gestured towards the table. At her question, Seamus stopped and stared. "Trying to be funny, are you?"

He was fairly well pissed off and tugged his sleeve down and then back up and then down once more. He finally spat, "It's the Dark Mark, sure'n you've heard of it? You get it for being loyal to Voldemort."

He grabbed his mug and debated hurrying back to his room before he lost what little hold on his temper he had left.
