Nobody will believe the study. I mean... Nobody who's already a member of The Church of Global Warming Caused Or At Least Well Assisted By Mankind will. Actual thoughtful people might, but for whatever reason they are in short supply or too afraid to speak up.

The appeal of self-importance should never be underestimated. "I caused global warming! I can fix it!" No one seems to remember how big the earth is.
