MSM's got templates, talk radio's got templates, all God's chillun got templates. It's part of our Constitutionally-guaranteed right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. ;)

The trick is to be aware of one's own, to fact-check oneself first. It also helps to extend a reasonable amount of charity to one's opponents and not immediately interpret words or actions in the worst way -- especially if they play dirty as a matter of course.
