Well if it makes you feel any better, me and my friends are pushing 40 and 3 of them recently started going at each other like it was high school again. Two of them tried to get me on their "side" (when actually they should have ended the friendship a long ass time ago.) One is a very close friend. The other is the sister of another friend. I told the sister, "Look, I've known you since high school, but don't really KNOW YOU. So I'm not taking sides. You two can work this shit out." I told the friend the second part.
It was kinda like standing in the middle of a paint ball war, but no one was aiming at me. Just a lot of chaos around me. Of course we are too old to drag our shit to FB so instead it was all handled over EMAIL.
Preach, sister. I really had such high hopes that people would grow up eventually, but I should've known better when I see how my mother and her sister interact.
