Dutiful, hardworking, reliable Isono. Kaiba's right hand man and probably his longest worker to date. Everyone else gets fired or quits (and subsequently never works in this town again oh well). It was unlike Isono-san to be late or take long breaks. Whatever was happening Juudai wanted to get to the bottom of it, his Papa needed him for work yes, but the kid was worried. It was unlike the right hand of KC to be so off.

When Juudai found him coughing outside he felt a chill go down his spine. Was Isono-san sick?

"Isono-san?"

He hadn't heard the other approaching at all. The moment he heard the voice, however, he tried to force his coughing to stop and straighten up.

"Juudai-sama," He answered dutifully, coughing once more into the curve of his arm before he took a deep breath. "Is everything alright?"

"I was going to ask you the same thing." The worry expressed on his face could clearly be seen. What was wrong with Isono-san? He never got sick! Was he working too hard? But he loved his job it all just didn't add up in his little Juudai brain.

"Do you need some cough syrup?"

He shook his head immediately, moving to side-step the other. This conversation couldn't draw out for too long. Juudai was smart and worse yet, he was Kaiba's adopted child. He'd tell Seto-sama ... and that couldn't happen.

"I'm fine." He lied, straight faced with absolutely nothing giving him away. "If you'll excuse me I need to get back to work." He bowed before turning to leave.

It was hard not to notice when Isono was more frequently taking breaks (or at least what he considered breaks anyway). She was starting to get a little suspicious of him disappearing more and more.

Plus, this was also the first time that he had been late in the time she'd known him. Ever. It was almost frightening how punctual that man was.

She stepped outside for a moment, needing a little fresh air from being cooped up a little too long in Kaiba Corp. But, hearing the coughs in the alleyway, she went towards the noise immediately and saw Isono hunched over. She put her hands on his shoulders, rubbing his back in hopes to ease the coughing.

"Are you all right?"
