*Charlie smiled and kissed Claire again, pushing a strand of her hair behind her ear.  It had been a hard few months with the flashes and her friendship with the monster, but now things were back to normal...well almost back to normal and they could move on with their lives

It would have been nice to know the answers to Charlie's questions but she didn't. Maybe she came back because Aaron had never accepted her? The flashes never revealed that much.

I don't know.. I never saw how that happened. My best bet would just be.. I came back because I couldn't be a mum. Maybe Aaron never accepted me as his mum.. I dunno. I mean, he's so used to Kate..

This place is so weird. I still don't know why I'm back...not that I'm questioning that anymore. I glad I am. I wouldn't trade this time with you for anything...

Charlie, I feel safe here. Really. I don't know why I'm back but there must be a reason otherwise I wouldn't be here. As much as I wish we had Aaron here, he's not for a reason.

She knew she sounded like Locke but what other explanation did she have?

Right now, I just want to enjoy this with you. The flashes are over. We, hopefully, don't have to worry about the Monster anymore.. We can just live.
