My Characters. Let Me Show You Them.
Okay, so I don't roleplay so much at once anymore, but I do continue to play. And I'm always up for bringing out my older characters, so how about I just list out everyone I've ever played here? That sound good?
Roll over the pictures for their LJ names and click to get their profiles. I did a good job keeping up with their memories, so hopefully coherent stories from the past can still be pieced together, if you so wish. This is in alphabetical order, 'cause I have no idea how else I'd do it:
- Walter Paul Sparrow - The Number 23. Walter here was mostly used in the community hell_wisconsin, which was based off Stephen King's The Stand. In that community, he was one of the bad guys, having been pushed towards more insanity rather than less. I've also put him elsewhere, though, and in those cases he was far more canon.
- Mohinder Suresh - Heroes. I've used him for all sorts of timelines and situations before. Right now he's post-bug future-Mohinder.
- David Xanatos - Gargoyles. I wasn't really ready to play him when I first brought him out, so he kind of sputtered out of existence. But I would love to let him loose sometime.
- Dexter Morgan - Dexter. High school version originally for middleareahigh
- Dexter Moser - Dexter. Grown-up version of the Middle Area kid.
- Dr. Troy Abernathy - Silent Hill: Dying Inside. He's more or less a canon version, a monster and the only good thing from that terrible comic.
- Dexter Morgan - Dexter. Canon Dex. I miss his icons.
- Dr. Ben Harmon - American Horror Story. Another not-so-great psychiatrist.
- Walter Fingerling - The Number 23. Adult version of the adorable Middle Area Walter, now less adorable.
- Gabriel "Sylar" Gray - Heroes. Another kid for the middleareahigh community.
- Light Yagami - Death Note. Played him in Luceti and I had a great time with him. Being trapped in a small village with his enemies was hard on him. Light here was killed by Mello, had a positively embarrassing death scene, and came back to one of his eyes not working.
- Gabriel Gray/Suresh - Heroes. An AU version of Gabriel that lived through the events of Stephen King's The Stand in the hell_wisconsin community. This was the first version of Sylar I played- I moved him through a few different worlds/communities, but kept his storyline fairly continuous.
- Dr. Ted Grey - Pathology. Currently playing him post-movie.
- Henry Townshend - Silent Hill 4: The Room. Started out as an after-thought to a mission that Roomed had gone through, and eventually turned into an extremely well-constructed canon(ish) version of Henry. I love the final story arc he went through with Eileen, in his Memories under "Lynn Investigation" then "Minor Arcana".
- Hudson Platt - Cloverfield. What's there to say about him? It's freakin' Hud! He had a good, if short, run.
- Henry Townshend - Silent Hill 4: The Room. The teenage version, and my first character for middleareahigh. He got seriously 4th walled, poor guy.
- Henry Townshend - Silent Hill 4: The Room. Grown-up version of the high school Henry, with just a pinch of House of Leaves thrown in.
- Spike - Buffy/Angel. Spike started out second season Buffy and got scooted all the way till post-Angel at some point, I believe. I jumped around with his timeline a lot. I loved playing him and always felt like I wasn't doing it right. And now I miss him. :P
- Sylar - Heroes. Canon-ish Sylar. Unfortunately, because I tended to dump him in dear_multiverse, he frequently got himself very messed up. Had to learn there were a lot stronger creatures out there than him and then try to steal their powers, yes. He was lots of fun.
- Gabriel "Sylar" Gray - Heroes. This Sylar was put together for polychromatic and progressed along with the show in its 3rd and 4th season. There were a lot of continuing Heroes characters for this Sylar to bounce off of, so it was good to see him deal with consequences beyond getting smacked down. This one had an eventual (slooow) redemption arc.
- Malia Telran - Dungeons and Dragons. This was the character I dipped my toe into LJ RPing with. In the campaign I was playing, Malia ended up being the first worshiper and Divine Crusader for her friend Wahid, who became a god of chaos magic. It was really interesting, to say the least, and she was a lot of fun to play.
- Peter Sullivan - Margin Call. I really liked this movie, and the character was cool. Currently playing him in a setting with other Zachary-Quinto-acted characters being trapped in Aperture Laboratories, because I also really like Portal.
- Gabriel Gray - Heroes. An AU, wherein he accidentally kills Peter at the end of Season 3, and Angela Petrelli decides to make him take Peter's memories and become Peter. Has yielded a couple different interesting results, and is currently dealing with multiple personalities (but Peter's been taken care of).

- Light Yagami - Death Note. Throwing Light in the Nexus threw him for a loop. Didn't play him for too long in this incarnation, but it was fun.
- Sasan Arfur - So NoTORIous. I've played a few different versions here and there, but I'm currently playing him in that Portal setting. It's been fun! He's terrified.
- Rachel Pirzad - Alphas. Rachel's a sweetie, and I love Alphas. I really liked her character development through the season and so picking her up was kind of inevitable.
- Mary Shepard-Sunderland - Silent Hill 2. This...was sort of a failed experiment. I could play Mary pretty well, but I'd depress the hell out of myself. Not the best idea I've had.
- Betta George - Angel: After the Fall. George! I really loved this comic, and George was my favorite thing about it. I've had him peek into things here and there, but...he's a giant telepathic betta fish. Not a super-many amount of places for him.
- Scott Pilgrim - Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. I made him up after I'd said I wouldn't play anyone new, so he hasn't gotten much time. ;_; But he's always been sitting there, waiting to be played.
- Winifred "Fred" Burkle - Angel. Yay for Fred. I've mostly played her from season 5, pre- or post- her death, but I've also played other seasons. Fred is really easy for me.
- Daria Morgendorffer - Daria. Never got a chance to really play her, beyond a bit of Dear Mun. Always thought it'd be fun, though.
- Dr. Troy Abernathy - Silent Hill: Dying Inside. This was the version of Troy I made up for middleareahigh. By the time he came in, the kids really needed a psychiatrist or several. I did end up doing several 'sessions' with him, which were a lot of fun. Also fun was watching his mind slowly unravel due to all the craziness of that place.
- Henry Sherman-Townshend - Silent Hill 4: The Room. Oookay, this is the big one. The first character I played on LJ with a storyline and on a regular basis. He started out post-21-Sacraments ending, because I was interested in playing it out, and figured I'd end up playing his nemesis Walter in the end. He ended up being taken in by the BPRD and getting involved with one Liz Sherman, and it wasn't easy for either of them...especially considering that they both ended up having to go back to Silent Hill to save Eileen. A lot happened after that, including becoming a hero for Hermes (yeah, srsly). He started out with the LJ name Roomed, just as an extra note.
- Noah Bennet - Heroes. Served as the Vice Principal at middleareahigh. I did a pretty good job with him, if I do say so myself.
- Walter Sparrow - The Number 23. This is the kid version I had for middleareahigh. He is both adorable and really unstable. ...not super-different from the adult version, really.
- Walter Sparrow - The Number 23. Canon Walter. Didn't get too far with him, as I didn't have a plan on how to play him without his family around. Ah, well.
- Elle Bishop - Heroes. I started her out in season 2, thinking she'd rarely cross paths with Sylar later...well, that didn't turn out. I still had a lot of fun playing her, in various Nexus-ey places!
- Henry Townshend, the Serpent - Silent Hill 4: The Room. This one is an interesting case. This Henry is post-21-Sacraments ending, but he didn't really get 'better'. Instead, he ended up accidentally offering his soul to the Red God in order to (finally) protect someone. He was remade to fit a prophecy and...well, was rather different after that. It was fun playing Henry as evil, and yet still in conflict with what had happened to him. I'm not sure what someone stumbling onto the character journal might've thought, but oh well. It was awesome.
