1st place in a Pick'em League is good - but out of 50 people? that's awesome! I used to belong to some pick 'em leagues a long time ago, but didn't do too well. Reason 1 being that it's so hard to predict the beginning of the season. I mean, who thought the Browns would beat the Bengals? Reason 2 being that I cheer for upsets so much and predict them so much, that I wind up losing - even if they almost come true. For instance, I really thought TN was going to beat Indy this weekend. And even though if Brandon Jones would have CAUGHT THE DAMN BALL (I'm still bitter) they would have won, they still barely lost. That line of thinking also burns my bracket every year for basketball.

That's why I posted my gold medal. In a league with at least 50 people, I doubt I'll get Top 3 again all year. :)

I had last week nailed. 12/16. Only missed the Jets (lost to Baltimore), the Vikings (lost to Detroit), The Saints (lost to Tampa), and the damn Bungles. I was one of the VERY few people in my league to call the aforementioned Seattle loss, the Texans' win over Carolina, and Washington beating Philly. :)

I'm going all sortsa nuts this weekend. Seattle over Cincy, Cards over Ravens, 49ers over Steelers (Can you tell I think the NFC West is a better division than the AFC North?), and in my Survival leagues, I'm going with an 0-2 team (Jets at home over the Phins)!

Balls to the wall! :)
