I have always said, as kind of a pointless soundbite, that the only thing worse than a crusading, self-righteous Christian in America is a crusading, self-righteous atheist. I did see the movie and def liked it but agree with you about it being "contrived", I did not see Waldo, however if there is a prize i'm expecting ten dollars of it.

I 100% agree with your atheists/christians rant. Yeah.

And I loved Slumdog. I wasn't totally blown away, like, "OMG BEST MOVIE EVAR!" but I really, really enjoyed it. I thought it was well-told, and though unrealistic in several senses... it *was* a story about luck and chance and destiny. So, there you go.

Didn't catch Waldo though, and I've seen it twice. :\
