...Ha!

New Year's was just as immemorable was I was predicting. I got home from work, pissed around a bit, then headed out to the bar that is by my place where Mike (Tina's husband) was playing. I even got my dad to tag along which was kind of fun/nice; I didn't want to leave him alone. We only stayed about an hour (from 10, to slightly after 11); neither ( Read more... )

yay for doing mission 101... you totally should. My other friend never finished making her list (so I'm not sure if that counts for my goal).

oh and btw...quit hating on my boys. They had a much more respectable game than pitt did.

I dunno about that. Pitt lost by 3 in a close, competitive, hard-fought game. PSU got blown out of the water and made to look like amateurs by a team that lost to the team that beat Pitt. :)

we were only down by a few touchdowns--not blown out of the water. you're totally blowing things out of proportion here. It was a much more respectable score than it could have been if they hadn't actually tried in the second half...they just forget to play until the half sometimes..haha.

I think you are confusing "Penn State tried in the second half" with "USC had a 24 point lead in the second half and put the game in cruise control". That was one of those games where the final score does not tell the story of the game. It was complete and utter domination by USC. As soon as PSU got within sniffing distance, USC immediately forced a turnover to end it. They had it in their control the whole time.

I still didn't get to see JoeFuck die, though, so it still amounts to a loss for me. :)

Phew, you kept me! YAY!

And I'm the same with my writing, though I have been for a while, editing myself before I've even started you know? I don't regularly have the 'flow' that should be there!

LOL@ you wanting to see a koala in person. If you ever come to visit me, I will take you to the zoo :)

Sorry, can't help with the superpower!

Haha, Penn State does suck.

I'm probably going to be doing some LJ maintenance of my own soon. I do it every few months or so, and it's time.

Happy New Year to you.

well here's the big question...what would your superpower be??

Reply

notbamf January 2 2009, 20:22:41 UTC
I could never decide. it depends on the circumstances. Like...if I had to fight other super-people? I want the Flash's power, no question. If I was just living my day to day life...I'd like to be able to teleport.

I'd love to be a Super Saiyan, too. :)

I don't even think Pittsburgh Zoo has koalas. Lame.

Teleportation would be the best superpower ever.
