Why does it seem like I have less to blog about than I used to? I am encountering fewer and fewer things in my day-to-day life that inspire me to whip out my scrap-paper and document for later. How unsettling. I love my LJ. I want to use it more

I agree with so much of this entry. I've already raged with you about it all though. The other thing I'm guessing we disagree on is the abortion thing, but we don't need to get into that. :)

I agree with this so much. I hate how every party I've been to late is like OMG DRINKING IS SO COOL NOW LET'S GO DO SOME POT GUYS. Um, no. Really, I hate that it has to keep coming up in conversations again and again and again. Ugh. It's so stupid

I know how the one part goes: my best friend throughout HS and I were epically close, but in his second year of college, he became all WOO FRAT BOY, and he and grew apart. He got past that stage, but we never got close again. my other best friend started getting high at about the same time in life, and again...he's outgrown that, but we haven't gotten close together again. I'm just a bitter friend sometimes. :)

My reaction to Knocked Up was somewhat opposite... I wanted to kill all the female characters.

ALSO, you don't love fetuses. Bullshit. You hate babies, you can't love fetuses, it's a law.

Fetuses are so much less annoying and obtrusive than babies/toddler, it's amazing. To me, you just said "You can't love pillows, but hate screaming mountains of poop!". It's nonsensical.

Fetuses turn into babies. It's a fact. Fetus = baby.
