There was a curse where images from our lives fell from the sky. A friend of mine found one of me and my brother when he was a baby.

I left it in a book by my bed, but I didn't think to look for it when I stopped by for clothes this morning.

Yeah, Nathan Christoper Charles Summers Dayspring Askani'son. Yeah, I think that all of them. But most people know him as Cable these days.

It happens when you get sent to the future to be raised.

He was actually just born Christopher Charles Summers, but his mom tacked on the Nathan when he was a baby to annoy Dad. When he was sent to the future he was raised as Nathan Dayspring. Askani'son is kinda a title. Cable's the name he chose when he cam back to our century, like I'm Marvel Girl and Kitty's Shadowcat.

Very, very confusing. And that's not even including the clones.

Madelyne and Stryfe.

Oh, God, no. Maddie, Madelyne Pryor, was a clone of Jean Grey - my mom. Stryfe was a clone of Nathan.

That is unfortunate. What were they used for?

Maddie was created so that Nathan could be born - she's his mother. And Stryfe... he was a "Plan B" of sorts. When Nathan was brought to the future he was dying, but he needed to be alive there were things he was supposed to do, so Stryfe was created in case he didn't make it.
