Do you mean a pet?

Yes. An animal which will be my pet.

What kind of animal would you like?

I am not sure.

Something small.

I really don't think you should offer a limb to them.

Why?

Because giving them that option right off the bat might give them ideas. When making deals you usually start out with the lowest possible amount then bargain up to something.

It is only a limb.

Honestly, I don't trust the Deities to actually go through with any deal. Just my word of warning.

Are you a dog or cat person?

I do not know if they will, but I have to try.

Neither. I would like something easier to care for.

Good luck, Laura. I hope they have mercy on you and actually do the right thing for once.

Fish are always a good bet.

Thank you, Kate.

Good idea.

A pet's a curious choice. What were you thinking of getting?

Reply

notaweapon June 4 2009, 19:42:09 UTC
It does not matter, as long as it is small. Maybe a frog, or a lizard.

I'll stop by the shelter on my way to work, see if there's anything interesting and easy to take care of.

Okay. Let me know what you find.

You have your old job back?

Umm, Laura, usually you can just give up something for a certain amount of time.

Like your sense of hearing or something for a month. Or I once worked in one of the deity's workshops for a bit to get a horse for Rosella brought here from her home.

If I were to amputate one of my limbs, I would be disadvantaged for less than thirty seconds. That is preferable to being without one of my senses for an entire month.

Would the, uhhh, adamanatie grow back too?

It will not. My claws will regenerate, but they will not be coated.
