(I was mildly surprised that Huckabee won for the Republicans. I have my suspicions that this is only because FUCKING CHUCK NORRIS was standing over his left shoulder the entire time. ;DD )
hahaha, oh my god, "Hot damn" is like the best phrase ever. BUT I CONCUR! :D
I know, right? Iowa's weird; I know a whole bunch of people who haven't even heard of Huckabee. I kind of like that the Republicans don't have a really solid frontrunner--they're all split and undecided and WEAAAAK. The Democrats are like, either between Obama and Hillary. That's the big Dem question, but as soon as one of them wins the primaries, they're almost a shoo-in for presidency (KNOCK ON WOOD) because they'll already be so cemented in the American public's minds, whereas the Republicans are all over the place. Bahaha.
I would love it if Obama and Guiliani ended up as the final frontrunners for either side, jut because I could stand either as president. God knows what I'll do if Hilary wins... or anyone else for that matter.
But as far as choosing between the two? Obama, fer shizzle.
problem with the republicans, like you said, is that they're so divided. They don't have a single candidate that everyone can rally behind. Guiliani is too "liberal" for the more conservative republicans, and the other candidates, well, we won't get into them. It's no question that the dems will get it in the end.
