Well, it looks like my niece might have Hodgkins lymphoma. They should know by the end of the week. The only thing she is upset about is not being able to move away to school. She is strong and very positive. No doubt she will be fine no matter what the results are. I had a couple interviews today, but nothing too exciting. Running out of money ( Read more... )

first, if theres anything i can do for your neice, just say. she sounds like a Strong girl, and thats awesome, but even strong people can use some backup sometimes. :)

and the other chic? wow. what a fucking bitch. its more than ok to use that word for her.

granted i've only known you a relatively short time, but i have *never* heard you complain *once*. you arent even the type of person that would complain, and you have had a hard life, in all honesty. yes, it has contributed to Who You Are, and i really Admire you for being able to look at it from that place of Strength. whatever pathetic reasons that bitch has for talking the shit she is about yuo have nothing to actually do with you--its all her.

wow. you need some more Good people in your life.

take care of yourself, doll!

im impressed with your "getting over it" ability. im still working on ironing the kinks out of that in myself... ;} the "wrong factor" just does me in a lot of the time, and i have a really hard time letting it go. injustice just pisses me off.

im glad we can be here for you :) though i cannot guarantee that sometime the venting might lead to a strong desire for beating people about the head and shoulders for treating you badly...

absolutely we need to get together soon!

One of my favorite stories from my dad:

"I was going up the elevator at work, and I was standing in the back. There was a woman up front by the doors wearing a power suit and power make-up with power heels on, the whole works. From down the hall, a guy started running for the elevator, shouting, 'Hold the door!' The woman just watched it close in his face, then she turned and smiled at me and she said brightly, 'It's a rough world out there.' I scowled at her and said, 'YES. It certainly is. It's bound to be with bitches like you in it.'"
