...oh! That sounds interesting. I really never messed with televisions before coming here, and there were none back in Gensokyo that worked. I heard some humans talking about radios, once! [ So that's close enough, right? ]

I don't know if they have video games here, but I guess it's like playing a virtual reality to pass time.

Radios are kind of different. I mean, it's usually for music, and that's for enjoyment too I guess. Appliances sure get specific when you try to explain them I guess.

[ A laugh. ] They sure do! Even the phones are strange to use. Back home, if you needed to talk to someone you just... went over to where they lived.

Phones are for convenience I suppose. Usually they're more useful when people live farther away. It's kind of easy to just meet someone in person here instead.

Especially when you don't have to walk everywhere! I prefer to talk face-to-face when I can, anyhow.

I find it more enjoyable too. I think my other problem is that these phones can probably be traced. I don't like the thought of that.

Well, I'm pretty sure people can hear our conversations if they made the effort. I think you can set up filters for that though.

Ohh. Like eavesdropping? I've never done that before, or set up any sort of protection.

Basically. I don't think people really care to do that here. Usually if it's important, you'd just meet them in person. I mean, this place isn't that big.

That's true. Especially for me, since I don't have to run everywhere anymore.

It's nice. It's easy to keep track of what everyone is doing for the most part.

Mm! I try to visit my friends whenever I have free time. Luckily, a few of them go to school, too, so that makes it even easier than flying across town!

Oh right. You worked at the school. Did school come back in session yet?

It did! Getting everything cleaned out and set up for everyone's return was a big project, but I kind of missed cleaning during vacation. [ Mainly because it was something to do, and she was decent at it. Unlike, you know, protecting her family... ]
