Sounds like what I woulda done. Can't hardly call yourself a friend if you don't try and do something to help after your friends have been hurt. And if hurting the person who hurt your friend is the best option...

Going out and getting yourself hurt too doesn't fix anything, though. That only makes the others worry.

The best option isn't always putting yourself in harm's way. It's trying to find out who caused the problem so you can alert others.
