... Is it bad that I can't forgive people like that?

Wishing happiness on anyone like that bastard who killed my father for a stupid reason like that... I can't do it. Miss Aya knew that she was wrong, and she was sad and she regretted it. I'm not saying I want them to suffer, but- It's not wrong that I want them to at least pay for their actions in ( Read more... )

Did you and Fuu-san get into a fight?

Oh, you saw that? N-no, it wasn't really anything that could be considered a fight! We just disagreed a little on a serious subject, that's all.

Why would you want to wish happiness on someone who did something like that?

I guess some people are just kinder than I could ever be.

Kinder than me, too.

There probably aren't many people in the world like that, huh...

They're are bad people in the world. You don't have to forgive them.

Some people can, but that's pretty rare.

That's a relief. I was worried it was strange of me to think so...

Nope. If someone had murdered my father I'd never forgive them.

It's not even that I want him to suffer, I just can't think that he deserves happiness...

The people who wish happiness on bad people are the stupid ones.

That's not true. They have their own reasons for thinking the way they do. It doesn't make them stupid.

They shouldn't force those reasons onto everybody else.

That applies to everyone on every subject, doesn't it? But people will still do it anyway, because they have very strong beliefs and they want them to be understood.

It's not bad, Yako. When you're hurt it's hard to forgive anyone.

I'm not sure if I think if everyone deserves happiness, but there are some evil people out there that aren't really evil, or aren't evil all the time. It's hard to know.

Mm. People aren't born inherently evil or anything, so I can't really judge someone without knowing where they're coming from - but that's sort of in human nature, to do that. ... But, killing my dad just because he wanted to see my reaction, that's...

My computer teacher was killed for... for pretty much the same reason. But Angel isn't like that all the time, and when he has his soul he... well, I'd be hard-pressed to find someone more remorseful.

But I can understand if Giles or Buffy or you can't forgive people like that. If it was someone close to me, I'd have a hard time.

I could forgive him if he thought that what he did was wrong at all, or if he felt guilty for all the people he's killed, but...
