when we talked about "people don't read us because we write, among other thinmgs, mature fics, or angst, you remember? that was what i was talking bout. that's the kind of fic that i like. i amdit it, i'm a sucker for semi-happy ending, and i like when there's a good road ahead of them. i don't like the easy way, and i don't like shortcut or sappyness, not any longer, at least-even if soemtiems i like to indulge myself in such a threat.
there's romance, adn there's hurt, comfort and the right amount of au to not make it an au, and there's the happy ending i like the most, the long road full of threats and troubles ahead of them.
god, tracie, when you write romance,, you are just great!

Yes, I remember that conversation. It frustrates me because though I don't 'specialise' in romance/humor/friendship, I know I can do it - and when I do do it, it sometimes gets ignored. That being said, I did have a fairly positive reaction to this story on ff.net, which was a relief.

I'm glad you enjoyed this. I actually had this idea years ago - just after season 1 - and shelved it because I thought it was too hokey/I couldn't pull it off in such a way that I'd feel comfortable posting it. I'm glad I've had the chance to come back to it now.

Thank you. :)
