[Chrissie would be fooling no one if she were to say that hearing his voice was not a complete relief to her in that moment, but .. it is. She closes her eyes, relief far outweighing any anger she might still be holding in her after their conversation a few nights ago.

Her voice is rough, but she speaks quietly all the same.]

[It's so good to hear your voice, Chrissie. So damn good. Erik's perhaps clutching his comm a little tighter than necessary. But it's been quite a while since he's last seen her and she's died in the past 24 hours and just yeah. He really misses you, Christine and you've been long overdue for a kidnapping visit from your Angel of Music.

[She should be mad at you, Erik. She should be mad and she should put her foot down and, damnit, she should tell you how she feels. However, that would be a WHOOOOOOOLE lotta emotions she just can't handle right now.

But God, is she happy to hear your voice again. It's been a miserable time for her since she last spoke to you.

She notes the shift from audio to text and reads the lines several times before responding back.]

[Christine hadn't come back to their room, or her own, and there was nothing else to suggest she was just wandering around the ship on the comms. The Phantom had been waiting for her too, so he obviously didn't have her. The only conclusion Raoul could make was a distressing one, but 24 hours later, he was there for her when she awoke

[Alarmed? She just might be a little alarmed, darling. You know, after the whole being brutally murdered thing, she's the tiniest bit out of sorts.

Although the matter of doors locking and unlocking was up for debate, she wasn't particularly expecting someone to open her door just after she's called out over the communicator. She lets out a startled cry, the sound cracking before its even fully out and she stumbles back.

At seeing who it is walking through, however, she makes an altogether different sound, sitting back on the bed before her knees spill her unceremoniously to the floor.

The smile she offers him is weak, but it's a smile nonetheless and she looks genuinely very happy to see him.]

This place ... I do no- not like this place.. Are any w- what they appear to be?

[The cry doesn't alarm Raoul as much as his appearance startles Christine, though he does jump a little at the sudden noise. He quickly deposits everything he's carrying on the nearest surface and rushes over to her, pulling his fiancee against him. Take comfort in his masculine arms!]

I know. It's alright, now.

[Christine takes all kinds of comfort in those arms, Raoul. Can't you feel her pressing in against you as you hold her? If she could, she'd be skin to skin right now; desperate for familiar contact.

Her voice is soft and cracks as she speaks, throat tight around the words.]

I died, Raoul .. died!! Those women ..

[She begins to shiver in his arms, fingers clutching at the back of his shirt.]

[Have a Chrissie that, for once, is not going to be at all sneaky about her location. She gives the room number and deck, sitting on the bed and waiting.

She honestly doesn't have the will to do much else just at the moment. Her faith in humanity at large is wavering rather poorly just now. :(]

[Chrissie looks up at the knock and without even rising she's pretty sure she knows exactly who's on the other side. She rises from the bed, knowing she can't handle yelling out to anyone just now.

She reaches the door and opens it and sure enough, finds Zee on the other side of it. She pulls the door open fully and steps back.]
