[Anyone paying attention is treated to a good thirty seconds of humming -- "Jingle Bell Rock" at first but then "Do They Know It's Christmas" -- but it stops abruptly when he actually finds his train of thought.]

Something that gets stuck in your ear canal and probably needs to be pried out with forceps before it latches on and tears a chunk out of your brain? Yeah, it fits.

[Maybe it's just phrased that way for the shock value, maybe he legitimately equates them....it's anyone's guess. ...In any event, somebody was watching Starship Troopers last night, apparently, and now might have a tiny temporary fixation on alien bugs. Don't mind him.]

Ba-ha-ha-ha-ha, oh come on, Bill, stop being such a stuck up bitch. Besides, I'm not unwell. I haven't had enough bourbon to be unwell.

Odd how I never got this sort of treatment when I was playing Carnegie Hall. But I suppose loss tells you who your friends are.
