Of course opening the closet upon returning home and finding a Bogeyman hiding within didn't help.
The Bogeyman was very disappointed that it didn't get more than a brief start of surprise, and then an exasperated sigh. "Out. First of all, this is a front hall closet, not a bedroom. Secondly there's no children here, just grown-ups who've seen scarier."
With a creepy sigh and a grumble about having already been kicked out of a closet by the Queen of the Elves, the thing vanished in a puff of spooky.
"Monsters." Tim hung up his jacket and proceeded into the living room. "Hey."
