The live of the Dread and Puissant Champion of the Fae was not always pomp and ceremony. And when said champion was in the final stages of his masters degree and preparing to start pursuing his PhD, in addition to the news he had just gotten from home, he was very, very glad that things were quiet on that front.

Of course opening the closet upon returning home and finding a Bogeyman hiding within didn't help.

The Bogeyman was very disappointed that it didn't get more than a brief start of surprise, and then an exasperated sigh. "Out. First of all, this is a front hall closet, not a bedroom. Secondly there's no children here, just grown-ups who've seen scarier."

With a creepy sigh and a grumble about having already been kicked out of a closet by the Queen of the Elves, the thing vanished in a puff of spooky.

"Monsters." Tim hung up his jacket and proceeded into the living room. "Hey."
