I'm almost disappointed in Balthier and Albanion. I've been prepared the entire day for some sort of April Fool's Joke to be played on me, but this late at night, I do believe I'm safe from whatever they may be planning. The only think I could think of was to tell Balthier that I was in labor, but that's just a little too mean right now, especially ( Read more... )

Aunt Myranda says a glass of wine and a walk around the block ought to do it! She also said to walk up and down stairs a few times, or if it takes too long, your doctor will do it with medicine.

She says not to worry, it's natural for baby to take longer than expected.

Too bad for my doctor I don't plan on giving birth in the hospital or with the help of any medication. That's what my mid-wife and everything we have here at home is for.

I'm not due until the 9th, but I'm just so tired of being miserable all the time and I just want her to come right now. That, would make me entirely too happy...

She said the midwife can pop things as well. They know how apparently...

Here's where I sit back and laugh at your misfortune and thank Yevon I'll never have to deal with that! :P

The mid-wife has assured us that she has ways of getting Violet to decide to make her appearance but won't use any of them until she's actually late. She will be officially late in 9 days...

I just want to sleep. Is that too much to ask? I haven't found a comfortable position in weeks...

Seeing as it's technically not April Fool's Day any more, praytell, did anything come out of today, prank-wise, or not?

I'm sorry things have become a waiting game for you. Either mum or I can teach you how to knit; it passes the time rather well. Tomorrow should be a nice day, do what you feel you should.

I'm certain some of those clothes come courtesy of mum and Father. We have a gift over here as well, I just haven't been able to drop it off.

If there were any pranks played yesterday, none of them were aimed at me and I didn't hear about any. It's almost disappointing considering what Balthier and Albanion do to one another on a daily basis.

I ended up going on a nice long walk and found myself at Larxene and Xigbar's place for a few hours before finally going home. It was a very relaxing day which what everyone keeps telling me that I need. It was rather nice, actually.

And we do appreciate the clothes, they will make sure that Violet is the best dressed baby on the block, that's for sure :)

Absolutely none at all? Even I was the victim of a prank! They might be saving up for next year, though. Balthier's done that exact thing before, and it ended with everything in my room being flipped upside down and wrapped in newspaper.
Perhaps they're sparing you for Violet's sake?

You should have every day be as stress-free as possible. Do whatever you feel, whenever you feel, within reason.

I'm certain she will be. The Asokis are having a little one of their own, but not for another month or so. Violet will still be cuter, I can guarantee that.
