I love how good Cassie is with him. It just seems so in character for her, that she would be one of those teens that is fairly prickly and determined and take-no-guff, but capable of great sensitivity and be able to handle Jack's deficits and limitations without condescending or making him feel awkward. It also seemed very right that Daniel, in his earnest attempts to help and be there for his friend would tend to do it in a way that would strike Jack as patronizing, without ever intending to do so.

:) I just love writing Cassie with pre-Changes Jack especially. I see her as the most 'in tune' with him without having Sam around. Thanks for commenting! :D

Now I just wish I had better finishing skills, because I have SO many WIPs in my writing folder that I want to get out there. And then I keep starting new things. D'oh. lol.
