Yeah, this is what both of them want, little moments of normality to allow themselves the illusion that they can be a normal couple. They can be, but only for short moments like this, and only because they are together, and don't have to hide stuff from each other. With partners from outside all that hidden stuff would be the elephant in the room, and normality would be impossible.
