Wheee! You found time to write something! And it's kidfic! And the kidfic has them in character and adorable without being artificial! Wheeee!

Awwww! Daniel getting clingy at bedtime. It just seems right, and makes me sad to think of little bereaved eight-year old Daniel and the endless nights.

I love kid!Jack being grossed out by the idea of being married to a girl. He is definitely the type to have divided all females into three groups as a kid:
1)Mom (and by extension, Grandma) - love her. She's allowed to kiss and hug me, and I know she'll understand if I wipe ostentatiously afterward if she does it in front of the guys.
2) All others - yuck! They're girls! 'Nuff said. Except
3) That girl with the biiig blue eyes and the blond, blond hair that sits in front of me in class. Her I tease and torment. She's mine to do that to. If the other boys try it, I'll thump them, 'cause she's mine. And nobody gets to make her cry. If they try, I'll thump them. Even if it's the teacher ( ... )

lol. :) This one has been sitting around in my writing folder for some time, in and out of the 'abandoned WIPs' folder. Then it got finished, except for a little spit and polishing, and I've finally found a little time to get around to editing and breaking into chapters. :) Glad you like it. :D
