This is what I like about this (and Changes too). With the exception of the accelerated healing from the Ancient gene, which is canonical but alas not available in rl, Jack's physical challenges and recovery are very realistically portrayed with frustrations, plateaus, sudden surges, and occasional set-backs. There are scars. Jack is afraid to hope for too much. He gets tired easily. And so on. Very nicely done.

Thanks. I appreciate that. :) I seem to have developed a liking to explore more than just the 'going off-world and fighting bad guys' stuff. Plus, although 'easy fixes' are usually available within the show, I don't often like to go that route. Plus I do a fair amount of research for the medical stuff, which means I sometimes get caught up in unimportant details... d'oh. heh. But I'm learning a lot! XD
