There are some places where clichés belong (within reason) and Christmas fic is one of them. These were sweet little clichés, not the hit-you-over-the-head obnoxious kind.

My favorite bit? Sam stifled her laugh as Jack froze, looking terribly guilty. She watched him nearly choke as he quickly swallowed. "None!" He exclaimed, almost squeaking as he pulled the sweater over his head, leaving the t-shirt beneath on. You know that his expression is the last lingering trace of Jack-the-altarboy that was. [Jack-the-boy is still going strong, and always will be!]

And it was oooh so right for Cassie to make a big stink over PDAs by oooold people, while secretly loving what it represents. She comes by it honestly, from her dad (Jack-the-loud-whiner)!
